HID Kits for Cars - Picking the Right One
It can be a little daunting to understand the different terms and conditions needed when you want to buy an HID kit for your car. Here are some pointers to consider:
Regular or Slim Ballast
The Slim ballast is a streamlined version of the regular ballast and although it is a little more expensive, when it comes to the installation the slender fitment really makes the difference. Less weight and bulk make it easier to fit and you have more choices on where to mount it.
35 Watt vs 55 Watt HID Ballast
You don't need to be an electrician to fit the HID lights but it's obvious that a 55 Watt bulb will emit brighter light than the 35 Watt bulbs. The higher output of the ballast means that it will deliver 40% more light compared to the lower rating kit. If you're converting from a halogen bulb (standard bulbs) then the 55 Watt kit is a more suitable replacement as they will have similar power ratings.
If you install the 35 Watt kit then depending on your car, it could flag up an internal computer error as the ECU thinks that the bulbs are malfunctioning because they are running at a lower power output. If this happens you might need to buy an error elimination device to get rid of the warning.
Relay Harnesses, What are they For?
As there are a few Xenon light kits out there, if you choose the single beam HID Xenon kit (low beam headlights only) then there is no need for a relay harness. If you install fog lights as well as high and low beam headlights, then the system has more to deal with and a relay harness is needed. The relay harness allows the power to run directly from the battery, without drawing power from the electrical system throughout the car.
Waterproof
Our HID kits are 100% waterproof, which means that no matter where you live, the weather won't affect the unit. In some cases, people who buy cheap HID kits will find they fail in wet weather. With our HID lights, you only need to buy them once.

Bi-Xenon HID Conversion Kits
When configuring the HID Xenon headlights to bi-Xenon lights (high and low beam), here are the options of the fitment:
1) Keep the regular Halogen bulbs for high beams and run the Xenon HID lights for low beam only
2) Run bi-Xenon headlights, which features a dual beam bulb for high and low beams.
